1. Data Controller

2. Core principle: your data never leaves your Mac

VozPilot is an application that runs entirely on your device. Voice recognition is performed on-device using Apple's built-in APIs; your audio and voice are never sent to our servers — in fact, we do not operate any server that processes your content.

3. Data we handle

• Microphone and voice recognition: used locally to scroll the teleprompter. Nothing is recorded or transmitted.
• Your scripts: stored locally on your device. We never receive them.
• AI features (optional — "Copilot"): if you enable them, the text you send is transmitted directly to Anthropic (Claude) using your own API key (BYOK model). Your key is stored encrypted in the macOS Keychain and we never receive it. Anthropic's processing of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Purchase and license: payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy (acting as Merchant of Record), which handles your billing data under their own policy. We only validate the license key.
• Waitlist / contact: if you provide your email, we use it only to notify you of the launch or to reply to your inquiry.
• Website: we use only essential cookies by default. Analytics are disabled unless you give explicit consent.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of contract performance (license/service), your consent (waitlist, non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiries, in accordance with applicable privacy law.

5. Processors and third parties

We may share strictly necessary data with: Anthropic (AI features, only if you enable Copilot and using your key), Lemon Squeezy (payments/licenses), Vercel (website hosting). Each processes data under their own policies. We do not sell your data.

6. Retention

We retain contact and billing data for as long as the relationship exists and for any legally required periods. Local data (scripts, API key) remains on your device under your control and can be deleted at any time.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability by writing to hola@vozpilot.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
